Services

We specialise in testing and inspecting electrical equipment, circuits and systems that transfer electricity within buildings to sustain a safe working environment for all.

This is a requirement of the Health and Safety at Work 1974 act and many insurance companies.

We utilise cloud-based reporting systems which allows the flow of results from our technical engineers to your team to be effortless and swift.

  • Electrical Equipment Testing (PAT Testing)

Regulations place a duty of care on employers to ensure that all electrical equipment is safe, maintained and fit for purpose. The IET recommends that maintenance records, including test results, should be kept throughout the working life of electrical equipment. Some insurers require compliance as a condition of cover.

Inspexx can provide an inspection and testing service as a stand alone facility or as part of a managed Equipment Management programme (compatible with PatGuard).

  • Fixed Wire Testing (EICR)

Fixed Wire Testing is also known as an ‘Electrical Installation Conditioning Report’ (EICR). Recommended by the IET, it is often a requirement for insurance purposes. The report features an inspection of a company’s electrical equipment and circuits in the workplace to highlight any safety defects and/or deviations.

In addition to producing our widely preferred reports, Inspexx Ltd can perform remedial work on-site in the event of any failures which need urgent repair.

  • Emergency Lighting

In unpredictable situations at work such as a power loss, sudden darkness can lead to danger and panic for anyone in the workplace.

Inspexx Ltd can make sure you have emergency lighting systems in the workplace which comply with the BS 5266-1 code of practise - safeguarding the effectiveness of the lights when they are needed.

  • Thermal Imaging

    Thermal Imaging

When there is resistance to the current in an electrical connection, the temperature increases. This can lead to the system failing and low efficiency in the electrical grid prior to failing as energy is being used to create heat.

Heat pictures produced by the Inspexx Ltd Thermographer highlight hot spots inside an electrical system. This identifies any immediate issues and predicts when wires will need to be replaced to keep you running, efficiently.

  • Data Logging

    Data Logging

Understanding your power consumption is crucial to productive energy management. Data logging can be used to assess the amount of power you’re using before adding new installations or as an initial step in becoming energy efficient. Inspexx Ltd use data loggers which can be left to monitor your power consumption for a week or longer to give a holistic view of your power consumption.

  • SFG20

SFG20, a widely recognized standard in the UK, provides a systematic approach to planned maintenance for building services and facilities. It offers a comprehensive set of guidelines, ensuring consistent and efficient maintenance practices. By adhering to SFG20, facilities can benefit from a structured and compliant maintenance strategy, promoting the longevity, performance, and reliability of their systems.

  • Solar PV Inspection

    Solar PV Testing

Inspexx Ltd supports companies who are working towards becoming energy efficient. That’s why we have qualified technical engineers who perform routine inspections and maintenance on solar photovoltaic system installations.

With the ability to diagnose and rectify faults in solar photovoltaic system installations, Inspexx Ltd will make sure you maintain energy efficiency.
